The track includes 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA because of Mark wanted the most effective outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day website that we can and then we hope in-turn they will be kind enough to donate to one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
Another absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the tune to help fund and set up a Phuket live music club with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
