A fresh 2016 Xmas rock n roll tune has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key goal of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .
The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session musicians to studio record the track durring a 6 week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States because of Mark wanted the most effective result and quality. The song ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as we are able to and then hopefully in-turn they will be kind enough to give to at least one or all the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
One other primary goal is to get enough downloads of the track to help fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that will present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his song Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket Villa and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
