When have to the great wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed over the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight marriage ceremony members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals to six course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

These are the second, wedding speeches are still an important part of being married and guests do enjoy hearing them, discussing them before, during and even after they’ve been delivered.

We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to meal, throughout the meal and after your food, however it is of your strong opinion the father of the groom speech needs to be delivered following your meal. I am aware that for several wedding party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father with the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they’d choose to have the wedding speeches prior to the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (a number of them are paying for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and exactly how most of them (and even the marriage venue staff) would like the wedding ceremony speeches to get delivered following the meal for a lot of reasons, many of which include:

The invited guests happen to be fed and watered and are not listening to wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be the case before the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food might be cooked and served at the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches prior to the meal as well as their is actually a delay of Quarter-hour to at least one.5 hours, driving your kitchen staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches act as the transition through the meal on the dancing (broke and alone happening following your meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared concerning the Bride & Groom after which it they know they can get out of bed, move about, come out, take a stroll, visit the bar…)
It can be hard for fogeys from the Bride & Groom to communicate in in public areas, the majority of them couldn’t survive used from it. So, they could, whenever they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.

There should be some type of formal wedding speech(es) following your meal…
