The moment should the perfect wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed on the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Speaking of rogues, wedding speeches are still a fundamental part of a married relationship and guests do anticipate hearing them, discussing them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We know of father of the groom speech delivered prior to meal, during the meal after the meal, yet it is of the strong opinion how the wedding speeches must be delivered as soon as the meal. I am aware that for several wedding party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father of the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they will would rather hold the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and how many (and indeed the wedding ceremony venue staff) would prefer wedding ceremony speeches to be delivered following the meal for a lot of reasons, many of which include:

The invited guests have been fed and watered and aren’t hearing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches ahead of the meal and their could be a delay of 15 minutes to at least one.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The marriage speeches become the transition from the meal on the dancing (without a penny happening following the meal, folks are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared concerning the Bride & Groom then they understand they can stand up, move about, come out, go for a walk, visit the bar…)
It’s a challenge for parents in the Bride & Groom to speak in public places, as the majority of them would not be used of computer. So, they could, should they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.

There should nevertheless be some kind of formal speech(es) as soon as the meal…
