METRO HALL – INDULGE
Metro Hall is located at 55 John Street, Toronto, Ontario. This coming year, the city has started a brand new “event” that started on Thursday, May 25th at 8:00 am. It occurs in Metro Hall Square and the public is invited to join in on the sights, sounds, and flavors of the city. It will take place every Thursday all the way through the summer until October 12th.
The square (from 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.) with have food vendors and live entertainment for that lunchtime crowd. You are able to sit within the square, and individuals watch when you enjoy lunch while listening to a totally free concert.
THE TORONTO MUSIC GARDEN
The Toronto Music Garden offers free music and dance programming through the summer. Admittance to this beautiful waterfront facility is free of charge seven days per week. A garden was made by the world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and landscape designer Julie Moir Messervy as a reflection in landscape of Bach’s First Suite for Unaccompanied Cello. Buy 19 free concerts come early july, featuring outstanding artists along with a wide range of musical styles, from medieval love songs to finger-style guitar. Concerts occur in the Toronto Music Garden of all Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 4 pm and so are approximately 1 hour in total.
THE BEACHES INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL
From July 7 to 30, the Beaches section of Toronto’s east end holds this not-to-be-missed festival. This can be a unique music festival being community-based and free. This year, over 700 artists will attract an audience that could reach over 1 million fans. The lineup includes over 100 bands playing various kinds of music including Jazz, Big Band, Reggae, Calypso, and Blues.
LET IT ROCK FRIDAYS @ BAR 244 NIGHTCLUB
