Some people believe online video marketing is just a passing fad and it’s really effectiveness will eventually run it’s course. If you ask me this sounds plain ludicrous. It could have been like someone saying Fifty years ago that TV was only a passing fad. Online Video is really a powerful way of communicating and that i predict it keep growing over the next several years.
In this post I will give a few strategies for using creating videos for the advertising campaigns.
Ideally your video should display a web link to your website at the start and end. I take advantage of video intro and outro clips that contain a graphic of this site. I sandwich my content video in between. To your video’s content, you may use either a narrated Powerpoint presentation or even an actual video people teaching. It depends where method you might be equipped to complete and effective in doing. It also depends upon that which you are teaching. Some videos may need screenshots or images. Therefore the live recording wouldn’t work in these cases. I’ve discovered that each type of video works as well for traffic generation to my websites. The Powerpoint method requires a bit longer as you have to complete more work (creating slides and recording voice). It’s video’s content that’s key.
Lets discuss the content of the video. During your teaching, focus on one main theme. Don’t use a shotgun approach and try to cover too much information. It’s more advantageous to make multiple videos – each on a single topic. I really do encourage you though, to give up just as much valuable information as possible. This will greatly increase your credibility with viewers and increase the chances of you converting viewers into customers. Use a good proactive approach after your video, but don’t be too salesy. You will need viewers simply to walk away with all the feeing they received good, valuable information and wasn’t pitched to.
Finally, write an excellent description of the video and include a hyperlink for your squeeze page or website as close to the peak as you can. I suggest making your link look natural by placing it inside the first sentence of your description. Include five or six keyword tags that are directly related to your video’s content.
Don’t submit your video to a lot of sharing sites because this looks spammy for the search engines like google and you will then get penalized for having duplicate videos. I recommend submitting each video to only one site. Do a search and find Logo Animation and alternate your submissions to each.
