But, those who visit active mosques should wear trousers that are below the knees and wear tops which cover shoulders. Also, a headscarf is advised for females. The locals tend to dress modestly, so it is likely that you’ll be more comfortable in conservative clothing.

Food and drinks
This tour focuses mainly on soups and meats. In the more remote and higher altitude places vegetables can be difficult to find. However, there are plenty of dried fruits and nuts that you can taste.
For alcohol, the choice is generally limited to vodka and beer, so those looking for something different – Scotch or Gin for instance – needs to purchase it duty free and take it home. Mixer drinks, such as tonic water, can be extremely difficult to locate, however.
