With a strong family belief in Lord Ganesha, this year ace sculptor Nishant Sudhakaran (Founder at Leo Enterprises) has surpassed all imaginative goals to make a six foot Ganesha idol with automobile scraps.
A specialist in creating sculptors out of metal scrap, each time a client approached Nishant to create one among Lord Ganesha, he couldn’t resist. He believes his baby daughter is an solution to his prayers to Ganpati/ Ganesha, he believed this came as an chance to express his love towards higher power.

Inspite of the short notice, a project that requires a dedication of nearly 60 – 70 days, he completed this magnificent piece within a month. Tirelessly working day and night with his team, he admits that “Ganpati Bappa removes all obstacles.”
The thick sized, heavy automobile parts needed to be handpicked in order that they could fit into like a jigsaw puzzle. The most difficult and challenging part was the whole process of hammering and bending the parts to own desire shape of the body. Sourcing flat parts from various vendors combined with task of executing the project on the deadline, which however we were able to accomplish.
A 6 feet in height “The Lord Ganesha” sculpture, it’s made purely from various automobile scrap parts. These parts are almost 10 or 15 mm in thickness that had been bent & welded together and meticulously shaped to make it an entire metal sculpture. This Ganpati Idol has been created from over 850 KGs of automobile car parts like disk brakes, fenders, clutch plates, flat gears, shaft gears, spark plugs, connecting rods, automobile chains, crank shafts just to name a few. The Mooshak (Mouse/ Undir Mama) can be produced from gears, nuts, bolts plus using a piston block and a wrought iron tail.
With the 6 foot Ganpati created beyond automobile scrap for his client, the subsequent work for Nishant is a ten to eleven foot kinetic wind sculpture.
