The Poly Macau Art Auction has been held again until today with the Regency Art Hotel. The categories include Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Chinese Ceramics and Artwork in addition to Jewels and Prestige Collections.
Masterpieces of Chinese modern art maestros will be displayed to represent the main developments of Chinese contemporary art history, including Wu Guangzhong’s “Snowscape in Beijing”, that’s estimated for sale at HKD14 million up to HKD28 million.
Other pursuits for example Chinese ceramics and artworks, including those through the Ming and Qing Dynasties, bronzes, lacquers, Buddhism figures, and fine stationery will be up for auction.
A Cloisonne-Enamel Ram Vessel, Zun, estimated to get worth between HKD3.2 million to HKD4.5 million is also for sale by interested collectors.

“We will continue to bring Macau more diversified cultural activities, and [will support] Macau to construct itself being a global art platform,” said Ho and “hopefully that Macau may become a well- known art capital in the foreseeable future.”
Regency Hotel opened in 1983 and has experienced past business closures. Ho, however, hopes to change it into an art form hotel. “In Macau, there might be many resplendent big hotels, but the quantity of hotels that happen to be used for art or perhaps some creational events is, in fact, not too great,” said Ho.
At present, Regency Hotel just isn’t running any casinos, which, in accordance with Ho, creates a different atmosphere when compared with other hotels. She also thinks that guests residing in this hotel will be more “private.”
The “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” will be held with the Regency Hotel until November 27. You use 60 exhibition halls will be arranged to produce artworks from 60 artists born after 1975.
