2016 Christmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Xmas rock n roll song has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket island charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a unique up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to record the track durring a 6 week period. The songs contains 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States due to Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The song is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then we hope in-turn they will be kind enough to contribute to at least one or all of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
Another primary goal is to get enough downloads of the music to fund and create a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and children’s orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day website to advertise his song Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket Hotel and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
