2016 Christmas Rock music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock n roll tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session musicians to record the song durring a 6 week period. The track contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the USA because of Mark wanted the best result and quality. The track is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day web site as we can and then we hope in-turn they’ll be good enough to help to one or all the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
One other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the track to help fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll present free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his music Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous methods to help including a Thailand Hotel and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
